Natura unveils Interface, a ring that sends voice requests to AI agents

Natura introduced Interface, a smart ring that passes voice requests to personal AI agents. According to Natura's product page, users press the ring's single button and speak to hand a task to an agent, record a meeting or save a passing thought as a note, all without taking out their phone. Requests go to the company's NatureOS app, where the chosen agent picks up the work and the result comes back to the user.

An AI agent is software that carries out a task step by step on the user's behalf, such as planning a trip, finding information or following up on a job. Interface is designed as a shortcut to those agents. Natura describes itself as a company building hardware and software for personal AI agents. It also makes HumanPods, open-ear wireless earbuds, and comes from the team behind the consumer electronics brand Rolling Square.

One button, two gestures

According to the page, a short request takes a press and hold: speak, then release. A longer recording, such as a meeting, starts with a double-click and stops with another double-click. Natura says the ring does not listen all the time and only records when the button is used; a small light shows when recording is on. The ring is designed for the index finger with the button facing the thumb, and it uses haptic feedback for moments that need attention. The microphone sits inside the band, and the aim is to pick up both whispers and speech in noisy places when the ring is held close to the mouth.

NatureOS connects agents and apps

NatureOS is described as the system the ring opens. There, users connect an agent, choose which apps it may use and follow its progress. When an action needs approval, NatureOS asks the user to review it before it goes ahead. The company's agent store lists agents from independent providers; those featured on the page include Instinct, Muse, Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex and Hermes. Natura's own companion, TinyNature, is also part of the system. According to Natura, availability and NatureOS connections vary by provider, and each agent keeps its own memory. The Mac app connects local agents running on the computer, while the iPhone app is used to send requests and follow results.

Depending on the task, the result arrives in one of three ways: a spoken reply through headphones, a live update on the iPhone lock screen or the full result in NatureOS. HumanPods are optional; any headphones connected to the phone will work.

Health tracking, battery and availability

Interface is designed to track heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, steps and skin temperature. Natura says these features are still being validated and will be confirmed before release. According to the company, the battery lasts 6 to 12 days with daily use, depending on recording time and how often health readings are taken; the ring charges fully in 100 minutes, and the charging case holds about 10 full recharges. The stainless steel ring will come in US sizes 7 through 13.

The ring is not on sale yet. Natura has opened a waitlist for first access to the initial release, and says price, pre-order timing and delivery window will be confirmed before ordering.

Many of the features on the product page are still in validation: health tracking, whisper and noisy-environment pickup, and the water-resistance rating will be finalized before release. What the ring can do without a phone connection will also be announced before pre-orders. The page mentions only iPhone for lock-screen updates and says nothing about Android support. How each agent works and accesses data depends on its own provider's terms, so it is worth reviewing permissions before giving an agent access to your apps. For a fuller picture, follow evaluations from independent researchers as well.
