TIME publishes its 2026 TIME100 AI list
The magazine's fourth annual list of the most influential people in AI includes Sam Altman, Dario Amodei, Elon Musk, Mira Murati, Ilya Sutskever and Fei-Fei Li.
TIME has published the 2026 edition of TIME100 AI, its list of the 100 most influential people in artificial intelligence. This is the fourth year the list has been compiled.
Those featured on the cover include OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison, Thinking Machines Lab CEO Mira Murati, Ilya Sutskever, Fei-Fei Li, Arvind Krishna, Lila Ibrahim, David Sacks, Marian Croak, International Telecommunication Union Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Liz Shuler and Eddie Wu, alongside actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paris Hilton.
Published with the list are three in-depth interviews: with Mira Murati, Doreen Bogdan-Martin, and OpenEvidence founder and CEO Daniel Nadler.
TIME also announced the TIME100 Impact Dinner, an event bringing together people from the list, to be held in San Francisco on 14 September.
TIME100 AI groups technology executives together with researchers, regulators, labour leaders and public figures engaged with the field. The magazine set out its selection criteria in a separate article.
