# AMD to acquire AI startup World Labs in all-stock deal

## World Labs and its products

San Francisco-based World Labs works on spatial intelligence. The company builds world models that generate, reconstruct and simulate interactive 3D environments from text, images and video, and also works on robot learning and simulation technology. AMD says the acquisition will give it a closer understanding of how workloads are changing across reasoning, robotics, simulation and physical AI, and help shape its future technology roadmap accordingly.
