The annual gathering of the AI infrastructure field, **AI Infra Summit 2026**, takes place on 15-17 September at the **Santa Clara Convention Center**.

The figures the organisers give convey the scale: 8,000 attendees, more than 400 speakers and 250 partners. The speaker list includes senior executives from Google, NVIDIA, Meta, Amazon and Intel, with Intel's chief executive and Google's chief scientist both on the programme.

The programme is split into six tracks; **AI data centre, compute, data movement, data and models, physical AI**; plus two stages given over to hands-on product demonstrations. The session titles also show what the field is preoccupied with this year: governing enterprise inference and multi-model routing, high-speed interface design in the AI era (PCIe 6.0 and UCIe chiplet connectivity), and high-capacity, low-latency AI storage.

Participating companies have begun announcing their own presence. **Intel** says it will show its Core, Xeon and Intel AI work at booth 736 and take part in sessions spanning edge, enterprise, cloud and physical AI environments. Its announcement contains no new product and no dates; what it describes are demonstrations to be given at the event.
